विद्याभ्यास स्तपो ज्ञानमिन्द्रियाणां च संयमः ।

अहिंसा गुरुसेवा च निःश्रेयसकरं परम् ॥

Words Meaning:

विद्याभ्यासस्तपो- Vidyabhyasaha=Study + Tapo = Penance

ज्ञानमिन्द्रियाणां- Jananam= Knowledge + Indriyanaam= Senses

संयमः- Control/ restraint

अहिंसा- Non Violence
