Subhashita:

सुखार्थिनः कुतोविद्या नास्ति विद्यार्थिनः सुखम् ।

सुखार्थी वा त्यजेद् विद्यां विद्यार्थी वा त्यजेत् सुखम् ॥

Words meaning:

सुखार्थिनः- seekers of happiness

कुतो- Where

विद्या - Knowledge

नास्ति - Not have

विद्यार्थिनः - Students/ One who is wishing for knowledge

सुखम् - Happiness

सुखार्थी - seekers of happiness

वा= and

त्यजेद्= leave/ give up

विद्यां = knowledge

विद्यार्थी = Student

वा = and

त्यजेत् = leave / give up

सुखम् = happiness

Shloka Meaning:

Where can the seekers of happiness get the knowledge? and Where can the seekers of Knowledge get happiness? The one who desires happiness should give up the hope of knowledge and the student should give up the hope of happiness.

Means No Pain No Gain"
