लाघवं= Lightness

वेदना= Pain

शान्ति:= Relieves

व्याधे:= Disease

वेगपरिक्षयः= Cessation of the paroxysm

सम्यक्= Perfectly/ Correctly/ Adequately

विस्राविते= Bleed/ Discharge/ blood letting

लिङ्गं= Features

प्रसादो= Cheerfulness/ Clearing/ absence of excitement

मनस:= Mind's

तथा= By all means

Meaning of the Shloka:

Features of perfect blood letting are-

1. Lightness in the Body and Mind.

2. Relieves Pain.

3. Cessation of the paroxysm of the Disease.

4. Cheerfulness of mind by all means/ absence of unhealthy excitement of Mind.
