त्वग्दोषाग्रन्थयःशोफारोगाःशोणितजाश्चये|

रक्तमोक्षणशीलानांनभवन्तिकदाचन|| Su. Su. 14/34

Words Meaning:

त्वग्दोषा-Twak= Skin + Doshaha= Diseases

ग्रन्थयः- Cysts/ Tumors

शोफा- Inflammation/ Edema

रोगाः- Diseases

शोणितजाश्चये- Shonita= Blood+ Jaha=Originated + Cha=and + Ye - These

रक्तमोक्षणशीलानां-Rakta= Blood + Mokshana= Letting + Sheelaanaam = among the people Practicing

न- Not

भवन्ति- they are / happen

कदाचन- ever

Meaning of the Shloka:

Skin disorders, Tumors, Edema/ inflammatory diseases, and the blood disorders will never be manifested in the persons who practice the blood letting procedures accordingly.
