Shloka:

तानिसुग्रहाणि,सुलोहानि,सुधाराणि,सुरूपाणि,सुसमाहितमुखाग्राणि,अकरालानि,चेतिशस्त्रसम्पत्|| Su.Su.8/8

Words meaning:

तानि- They

सुग्रहाणि- Comfortable to hold/ good handles

सुलोहानि- Manufactured with Good Metals

सुधाराणि- Sharp Edges

सुरूपाणि- Well formed/Beautiful

सुसमाहितमुखाग्राणि- Perfectly joining jaws

अकरालानि- should not have the gaps/ unevenness

चेतिशस्त्रसम्पत्- Cha=and + Iti = like this + Shastra Sampat= The Qualities of sharp instruments

Meaning of the Shloka:

The qualities of the Shastras are -

1.- Comfortable to hold/ good handles

2- Manufactured with Good Metals

3- Sharp Edges

4- Well formed/Beautiful

5- Perfectly joining jaws
